Wrong Return - Pre Filming (Sorting Out Equipment)

Before our filming started we had to get our equipment and rehears our actors.

For our equipment we had:

  • one tripod
  • one mic
  • a glide cam
  • two canon 600D cameras
  • and a U-grip
Once we got the equipment, I took it back to my house as I was the equipment manager, so I had to look after and make sure everything worked.
I have used a glide cam before but haven't set it up, so I had to learn about it and how to stabilise it.
It was quite a lengthy process as every minor adjustment made the glide cam tilt and the camera wasn't flat.
In the end i sort of knew how to set it up and it didn't take a long time, as I spent a while learning how to use it and set it up

Wrong Return Script

  • Angela
  • Malcom
  • PC Nicole
  • Barbra

Scene 1:

A girl wakes up in a secluded forest. She doesn’t know where she is, she starts walking to try and get out of the forest.

Scene 2:

A flashback occurs; there is a man and women in a kitchen cooking a meal nothing bad is happening but the atmosphere is weird the audience can sense there is something wrong.

Scene 3:

It then flashes forward a year Angela is walking through a village. She gets a phone call

Angela: Hello

PC Brown: Hi Angela? It’s Nicole from the police station, PC Brown. Have you got a second?

Angela: Oh hi Nicole, yeah it’s fine I’m just on my way to work. Is everything alright?

PC Brown: I just wanted to let you know there’s been some progress on your case.

(Pause)

PC Brown:  Actually it’s good news.

Angela: (hesitant) Oh, what is it?

PC Brown:  Well, I told you I would try to investigate further afield to see if there was any report of a missing person who fits your description.  It looks like someone has been trying to find you over in the village of Reeling. Does that sound familiar?

Angela:  No I’ve never heard of it… Well I’ve certainly haven’t been there since the… accident.

PC Brown: Well it looks like there has been someone looking for you from that area for some time.

Angela: Oh oh why didn’t you tell me before?

PC Brown:  Well that’s the strange thing there doesn’t seem to be any sign of it on our system.

Angela: Ok what do we need to do?

PC Brown: Well I was wondering if you could come to the station and call the number on the poster.

Angela: Well I have to work till late tonight so today isn’t great.

PC Brown: Well I could send you the number and you could make the phone call by yourself. However it would be better if we could call it together, if you do make the phone call you must not arrange to meet anyone by yourself. If you want to meet someone we can arrange a time and go together but under no circumstances, go and meet someone by yourself.

Angela: Ok

PC Brown: The Number is 07711327115.

Angela: Yes, ok I understand I won’t go anywhere. Thank you for the number. Shall I call you after
ive made the call?

PC Brown: Yes you must get back to me straight away. Good Luck.

Angela dials the number

(Ring, Ring)

Malcom: Hello?
